Sync Problem w/ Calendar Appointments

when I add an appointment to my calender in Outlook 2000, Activesync 3.7 reconizes the need to sync up. But once I do, the appointment doesn't show up in my Axim's calendar. I have an evening appointment coming in two weeks, and finally, a small triangle appears in the box for the day under the monthly view, but the appointment doesn't show up anywhere else on my Axim. Not under the daily view, or the weekly view. What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same problem. It started happening only recently. I can see all my appts. on my desk top Outlook just fine, but I can't see them on my axim. The only way I'm seeing them in my Axim is when I do a search, I can see the data there and bring up an appt., look at it, edit it, etc. BUT it doesn't appear on my calender in any view and its driving me crazy. HELP!

Ok, here is my guess. I think I figured it out. I can see all the appointments now.
Haxim, if you can see them on your desktop, but not on your axim try this:
Go in your Axim calendar, on the bottom toolbar select "tools" -> then select "categories" and see if any boxes are checked. If there are, that may be the problem so uncheck any checked category boxes and close out of that screen. Now, see if you can see your appts.

That is what I did and it worked. I think that if you have a particular box checked, the calendar will only show you that type of appt. However, I couldn't find anything in the calendar help screen directions that verified this.

Calendar Appointments

Thanks. I think you're right. I also found that if some of the categories are checked, that it won't show you the appointments. They either all need to be checked, or none at all.

I'm sure that one or two of the categories take priority, but it's easier to just check them all. That way the appointments show up.

Thanks for your post.

You're welcome! I'm glad to be able to help! I'm glad to have found an answer!
I'm amazed that the help screens in calendar don't even touch on this. Now, I wish I knew how I managed to get a box checked here so I don't make the same mistake again!

I believe the option is there to use when you are trying to search within a particular category of appts. You would check the one category and it will help you by showing just all the appts that are in that category. (for example, I have a category I titled "doctor appts", so if i'm trying to find out when my kid was at the dentist last, I could check that box and search purely through all the doctor appts). When you check all the boxes though it shows all the appts in all the categories so you again, see everything.
