Hmm Fast Forward MP3s

Does anyone know of a program that can advance through an MP3? I record internet talk radio to listen to at work (no radio reception in my cell :) and store the file as a 100meg+ MP3. Problem is if my Axim happens to stop playing for any reason then I have to start the MP3 over again.

I know of replay radio for the pocket pc but it's $19.95 and I'm looking for something a little more frugal...

Please advise...

howdy!

I also listen to talk radio at work.

A kind soul records Ron and Fez in DC,
and then emails it to hundreds of fans.
a 4 hour show is broken down into 8 low bitrate mp3's.
(24Kbs@22khz)
each show (8 files) is about 38 megs.

I've been using WithMP3 and am really happy with it.
lets me pause, and skip tunes using the buttons.
and the slider allows you to move anywhere within the file playing.
No fast forward button though.
I do think the equalizer in WIthMP3 really helps talk radio sound MUCH better than it normally would.

Hell, I even listen to the files when I fall asleep,
and with the equalizer, I am able to make the file Just barely audible. Perfect to fall asleep to.
without it,
the lowest volume setting is way too loud.

you might have better luck fast forwarding if you break the 100MB file down in to smaller components that WMP or another player might be easier to shuffle through.

I use windows media encoder to record in .wma format and the windows media player to listen to the recording. Fast forward works great.
