Avantgo question

I am emailing Avantgo about a problem I am having, and they want me to cut and paste my AvantGo Sync History and/or the contents of the HotSync Manager Log in a box on their form. Where can I find this info? Thanks.

I think this is what they are trying to get at:

Log on to my.avantgo.com using your username and password. Under "My Account" tab, there is a "View your synchronization history" option under Account Management Task > AvantGo Software.

It lists several times "Size limit exceeded for channel? Does that just mean it deleted old news and replaced it with new news? Take a look:

Someone please help. Avantgo says all my channels are synched, but I cant find them on my Axim. How are you supposed to navigate to your various channels? Thank you very much.

You can access AvantGo from Internet Explorer.

All I see when I tap IE is the 4 default logos. You know, Avantgo, Dell, PocketPC, and MSN. Then when I tap Avantgo, all I get are the default sites. MSNBC, Cnet, expedia, and usatoday. Where are the ones I picked out?

I have the same problem with channels I have selected. When "My Channels"is listed I have the same 4 channels that seemed to come with the Avantgo setup. I definitely placed a few more channels, hit the sync button, now I can't find the channels. Also Avantgo says I have no synchronization history? Need help :

Where did you put your AvantGo username and password?

Let's try something:

Go to Settings > Connections > AvantGo Connect and look at the Properties.

Have you entered your account info there?

There is a very simple solution if your Axim is not changing to the channels you have chosen through Avantgo's website. Follow these steps and you should be ok.
1. Go to www.avantgo.com
2. Log inot Avantgo (using menu in upper right hand corner)
3. Once logged in, click on the "My Account" tab on the right side.
4. Click "Software configuration" under the "Avantgo Software" heading on the menu on the right
5. Make sure you Axim is put into the cradle (or sync cable)
6. Click "Configure Device" button on the left side.
7. Follow onscreen instructions.
8. Sync you device with Avantgo through Active sync.

Thats it folks....

I know this must be something simple I am missing but here goes. When I go to options on my Active sync there is no avantgo option. I have done a wipe of both my 'puter and my Axim and started fresh, no help. I am signed on to Avantgo and can access my account by going through, settings, connections, AvantGo, and clicking sync all. So this is really just an annoyance but it would be nice to one click sync. Before I did a hard reset AvantGo worked fine.

I had gone to myavantgo and change some channels.
I followed the advice above and I continue to get this error message:

Sync limit exceeded, please try again later.

What AvantGo is telling you is that you have made to many attempts to Sync within a predefined, and known only to AvantGo, time period.
The 1 item unresolved is the Sync you were unable to complete.
