I am a new father with a new Axim, so instead of carrying my daughter pictures in my wallet and want to display them on my new toy.

I know I can display them on the wallpaper, but is there some kind of small program, hopefully shareware that I would be able to load only to display the pictures. No need for anything fancy or with options to modify the pictures.

Thanks.

Install Resco Picture Viewer (Available for free :D on your System CD). It sound like just what you're looking for.

That was the main reason I bought the Axim, to show all the pictures of my new newborn.

How many other people bought the Axim for the same reason?

Well I got the Axim to do literally almost 100 different things, but one of them was to be able to keep a slide show of just about every (interesting) picture I've taken, and carry it around anywhere! At 320x240 you could store thousands on a basic 128MB memory card.

I don't have any newborns (yet), but I have a cute girlfriend, and two cute kitties we just adopted that are sure to become the stars of our slide shows!

I got Picture Perfect free after rebate and just tried it out today. It's pretty nice except when i put a music bed (i.e. mp3 file) on a slide show. The music track skips a bit :(. What it does is runs Windows Media Player in the background.

Has anyone here tried putting music to their slide shows on Resco Picture Viewer ? If so, how does it play?

Thanks!

I used to use Pocket Album from www.conduits.com, I recently installed ACDSee Mobile from www.acdsee.com, I think it is better.
