I love the quality of the Axim's screen, but for those of us who use the Axim in bed with the lights off (so as not to bother our spouses!), the screen is a tad bright even at the lowest brightness setting (by which I mean one setting above the lowest, which is just black). Does anybody else feel like there should be one more setting in between dark and the second setting? My eyes usually adjust somewhat, and I've alleviated the problem somewhat by mostly using applications that have dark backgrounds; I usually either watch movies or read ebooks with µBook (a great app, btw:
http://www.gowerpoint.com/), which allows a non-white background that isn't as glaringly bright in the dark as Reader's all-white background.
Anyone else experience this, and if so, anyone figured out a workaround? I've looked around for apps and registry tweaks, but no joy.
