I was just pointed in the direction of a little program called DreamKana (
http://www.dreambreed.com/soft.asp) which serves as a hiragana and katakana flash card program.
Right now the thing i'm struggling most with in my Japanese course is the memorization of hiragana and katakana, so this seems to be a perfect tool. The only problem is that it appears to be firmly anchored to a desktop, something I get precious little time with. (well, unless you don't count the ones at work, where they're excessively paranoid about external software being installed)
Getting to the point, has anyone come across a program similar to this for the Axim? Right now about all i've managed to find are travel phrasebooks, which are somewhat handy I suppose but not so great for practice or classes.
Failing this, a Japanese word processor would be very nice. Anyone know of a good one? No version of NJStar for the pocket PC to my knowledge.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
