What are CAB files?

Can any one help me buy simply explaining what are CAB files and how do I install them? Thanx so much!!!!!!

Think of them as a container of compressed files. By moving the .cab file directly to the Axim then from the file explorer on your Axim, opening that file, it will automatically install the program into the default location on your Axim.

Make sure they are the right version (arm or xscale) before attempting to install

I think of it as the .exe equivalent for a pda.

Yeah, kinda like setup.exe on your PC applications.
