Thanks to SPB I am discovering RSS feeds but I have one question. If I set my PDA to download content every night and then delete stuff and then update again in the day will the program know not to re download the same content again?

typically yes, thats how it works.

the spb reader is nice. im a huge fan of the newsgator reader ($$$) and pocket rss, which is also nice (sbsh pocketbreeze plugin is nice)
