Question .MOV Viewer for PDA?

Hey,

I am looking for a .mov viewer for my PDA (X3i). I have tried the ones made my DigiSoft and they didn't work. :( Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

.mov are a source of some frustration to me as well. I have an olympus digital camera and that's the format it uses for short movie clips.

What I do is use TMPGEnc (free) to convert them to mpeg and then use Windows movie maker 2 ( great prog) to 'stitch' them together. It will then save them as wma for PPC so that you can play them on the Ax. Oh, you do need a plugin for TMPGEnc to allow it to read .movs but it's free as well. From memory I think it's called QTreader.vfp but could be wrong.

I tried encoding a movie in Axim's format and then opening it with PocketMVP. But it doesn't work. It actually hangs my Axim till a soft reset. ;)

Yes, what format and did you also try Media Player 9? Save as a PPC .wma and it will work with media player.

I used this thread here: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...&threadid=3692

I then tried to open the file I got with PocketMVP. It totally crashed until I soft reseted. Would I follow similar steps to get to .wma?

Thanks

I just used the save command in Movie maker 2 and it does it. I only do movies of a couple of minutes though. Movie makers free so I use it.

PictPocket Cinema claims to play .mov but I tried every .mov I have here and it wouldn't play any of them.
