Does this exist?

Beyond agenda fusion or pocket informant. I am looking for an application that allows me to see tasks, with reminders and will show updates to the progress.

An example I can think of I need to clean my apt so I would create a task for each room, then once it was cleaned I would update it and mark it as finished. However if I was tired and couldn't completely clean the kitchen I could mark it as 50% complete, and see that it is not done. Ideally, it would be great if I could build in a count down to say January 1, so I knew how many days left before I was out of time. Sorry for the longwindedness and probably all the confusion this will cause.

I understand what you are asking. I am not sure of any programs that would monitor your progress and have a count down.

This may be to much work and not automatic... You could try "List Pro". Create a new folder and call it clean apt. Under that you would have each room. In each "room" you can have howerver many check off list you want. (25% complete, 50%,75%...) When you have completed a certin % just check of on it and the list will disapear. It is way user dependent, but just a thought.:)

If anyone knows of such a program I would also like to know.

Interesting...
I like the idea of a program that would accomplish all of that. I'd pay money for one that would. :)

aximluva - Who is that in your avatar? (Looks like Morihei Ueshiba to me)

Cheers,
Gabe

I have never used this myself, but the software from these folks may do the trick, based on their descriptions:
