As I am waiting for my Axim to arrive in the next couple of weeks, I am trying to learn all I can about various apps out there.

From the Show off your PPC Today Screen Discussion, I found Wisbar.

Now I see that there are plenty of free skins to download for it, but is there a utility you can use to make your own on your PC, so I can make some while I wait for my Axim to show up?

Wisbar simply uses bitmaps ( .bmp ) files to "skin" buttons and such. So all you need to do is create these bitmaps using a graphics editing program on your pc. Check out the Discussions section of the Wisbar site for a ton of skins ready made...
