Pocketop Drivers no longer free?

I went to the Pocketop site today, www.pocketop.net, to get the drivers for a Toshiba E335 that is going to be using a Pocketop keyboard, and there was a form I had to fill out, including a space for the serial number of the keyboard! It said it will take up to a day to recieve the drivers via email. Is Pocketop cracking down on all the Pocket PC users out there that have used their driver solely as a screen rotator? What's the deal?

Well, I thought it was too good to be true to get screen rotation software for free when others are charging for it. I guess PockeTop finally got hip to it.

Doh! I have had the pockettop keyboard for months and it never occurred to me to use the driver solely as a screen rotation. I was actually considering buying dotpocket just for this - guess the obvious isn't always that obvious to me...

Now that I've been enlightened, could someone please enlighten me?
When I click the screen rotation feature, I get: "Screen rotation driver is not enabled. You can enable it now by tapping the yes button. The device will then be reset. ..yada yada.."
I select "yes" and I get a soft reset. Then I go back to the pockettop driver, click the screen rotation and get the same message again. Is there a way to get it to actually work?
Thanks.

Do you have 2003? If so, do you have the latest drivers? I don't have 2003, so I can't try it for sure, but I have read that the earlier drivers for 2003 didn't support screen rotation. The newer ones should work. This is fo the X5 though. If you have the X3, screen rotation doesn't work.

have no fear, fellow aximians, mpbasher52 is here

look up micro innovations website, this company makes the EXACT SAME keyboard which means that the site gives you the EXACT SAME drivers for FREE. I downloaded them just a few days ago when i found out about pocketops site charging or whatever, youre welome

forgot the site name so just google micro innovations and download the drivers for free, or at least until they wisen up to what pocketop is doing and begin to charge too.

How do I know they work, you say?
Well, i am using them right now.

The problem, for me at least, with the Micro Innovations site is that I need drivers for the Toshiba E335, and it doesn't have them. The Pocketop site did. I think Pocketop keeps up with drivers better than Micro Innovations.
