Todayplus new v0.11.0 - Page 2

pasted TodayPlus.arm.CAB using file explorer to my device, clicked to install. todayplus & config incons in my programs folder. Choose todayplus in settings, items but i get no pic or repsonse from program. just get blank screen?????

HELP?????

You have to run the CONFIG.exe in the today plus folder of your PPC device. You must choose a skin and setup some of the other features.

This should get you going but use the URL from previous post to dark-mojo.com for more advanced help

If you have PPC 2002 you must install Microsoft Net Frame Work on PPC. After you install, you got to todayplus folder and click on config. When that opens, set Base Path to TodayPlus, and choose the default skin. You should be up and running. Then you can proceed back to config and modify and add to settings.

I set it up myself again last night, andf I also had a white screen. But after using "Config.exe" and seeting the "basepath" and some other options it worked great.

WM 2003 has .NET v1.0 buildin, so installing of it is needed with PPC 2002
I used what's in the package, standard skin.

This will work.
Now I do have one problem the calendar in the agenda.
It looks like this and that isn't OK.

hey, in the config options, what is RSS for? It asks for a url? Anyone use it? The option is under weather.

Yes there are many rss news and information feeds available to download to your PPC. Do a search on this board and you should find some to enter and use.

As we have been told by srs it will remain freeware. But with all the people complaining about versions expiring, I wouldn't blame the producer from not doing any more work on it. Then we will all be without the program.

Most have found it not slow once loaded, but remember it takes the place of many plugins. I just hope it will be around to use.

I was really looking forward to using this program, but was really turned off when I heard that it expires. If there was a non-expiring version that I had to pay for, I would buy it. But I am not going to use something that is going to expire.

I have WM2003, do I still need to install net frame, cus i still cant get it to work, just blank screen & clicking onto config.exe doenst do anything??????

WM 2003 has Net framework SP1 build in that's basically enough.But it can't harm to install SP2 of NET.
