Agenda Fusion & GPSassist

GPS assist imply on their website thta it is OK to use with wm2003 if you download and overwrite some existing files in the OS.

Having done this I discovered a bug that has been reported elsewhere(see here)

Having run into probelms I have removed GPS assist, but now I cannot edit appointments in Agenda Fusion. I have re-loaded AF but it makes no difference

Has anyone else had this experience?

Do I need to do a hard reset

Well, I did a hard reset, and I still have the problem. I can edit the calendar items in Outlook, but not in AF

Any ideas anyone?

You did a hard reset and completely wiped your Axim and chose not to save your files so it was as if you just got it new?? So you had to reinstall all your programs and files ...

If you did then its odd .. A total hard reset puts all files back to the factory default as its saved in protected ROM ...

Were any of these changed files on a SD or CF card that you might not have wiped and releaded leaving the faulty files behind?

Well Planet-Ed, you must be right. I backed up the Axim (whole thing?) to an SD card using sprite backup. Did the hard reset, and then a restore. I guess I must have restored the faulty file(s). But what can it be? I've tried reloading AF. I'll experiment some more and see what I can find

Later
