Java and Flash

I have been trying to find java free for Axim x3i, but no luck.
I also found the flash player 6, but when I go to www.comcast.net it says that I need to download the latest flash player 6. Do some sites just don't work with PDA?

Java or ActiveX for PPC2003??

I just received and hooked up a D-Link DCS-1000 wireless webcam. I can view the camera through IE on my PC's or Axim (with my wireless CF card) just by browsing to the IP address of the camera. However, to get real time video, I need to have either Java or ActiveX active in the browser I am using. All I can get with the Internet Explorer in PPC2003 is still images that I can only refresh. Any hope of getting either Java or ActiveX on my Axim????

Re: Java and Flash

Never mind . . . you are apparently correct . . . the PPC macromedia Flash app apparently is not compatible with comcast.net (I just tried it).

This is a good site to check the PPC Flash is working correctly:

www.homestarrunner.com

The problem is not java or flash, but rather the fact that native PIE reports itself as an old version of Explorer.

Search this site for the registry hack to trick PIE into looking like IE 6.0

(P.S. RegKing will not work with this site, you also need to remove the Post Platform entry in the registry . . . this will cause all mobile sites not to sense the AXIM as a PPC)
