Can someone with Intellisync experience tell me about it. What does it do that Activesync doesn`t?

It synchronizes by using the activesync core components.

You have a little more control over what is done with conflicts and such.

It doesn't synchronize every thing Activesync does (e.g. notes)

Haven't toroughly tested it though.

It allows you more contol of sync'ing some information. I use it to sync seperate contact lists. I have a personal contact list and we have a shared office contact list. It allows me to sync both of these lists onto my axim, but keep them seperate on the computer.

It is a great program, but I have version 5 and just upgraded to WM2003 and not it wont work. I really use any other features of the program. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative?

Intellisync is primarily used to sync lotus notes with your axim

My impression of this program is that it is used to sync with servers of larger organisations which use groupwise instead of outlook as the basis for email communication.
I have applied to my boss for connection of my Axim using this program which my ISD department currently use and recommend.
Because we don't use outlook, it is impossible to sync contacts and inbox without intellisync so I'm eager to see how it flies. when i have flown it, i'll post again!:D
