Can't remember the name of the app I'm looking for. . .

There is an app out there that competes wtih "ACT!", but is far better. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. It's VERY thorough, in that it allows you to keep track of all types of contact that you have made with a given client.

It's a full business application, and has a desktop app with it (if you choose). I can't remember the name of it, (even though I used it for two months about a year ago!).

It's not pocket informant or Agenda Fusion or any of those PIM's. It's a full contact mamagement application.

Can anybody help? :crooked:

Goldmine, perhaps?

http://www.frontrange.com

I run a v6 networked installation at work.
It's a powerful program, although I don't believe there are any "Pocket" versions of it, like Act!.

Not Goldmine

Nope, not Goldmine, but it's competitor. I can't believe I can't remember the name of the product. I remember that their latest version is 5.3. As I recall, they claim to be better than ACT, or Goldmine. It was a TREMENDOUS app too. When I figure it out, I'll certainly post it here on the board.

How about Commence? This was my choice after trying Act and Goldmine.

Do you have a link to "Commence"? That was not the name, but I'm interested in checking it out.

Try commence.com. Got to thinking after my original reply, this isn't a Axim application but rather a PC app. You have mentioned Act and Goldmine and Commence was the next logical sequence that popped up in my mind.

Hmm I found it . . .

I found it. It's "Pocket On-Schedule" found at http://www.odysseyinc.com/ . It DOES great follow-up, however, it seems to be behind the times so far as look and appearance (check out opcket informant's look and options). It IS the only app that I know of that will allow for follow up. Is it better than "ACT!"? No question.
