command line on PocketPC

Has anyone had any luck getting the PocketConsole tools to work on their Axim?

I've installed the PocketConsole for ARM, performed a soft reset on the Axim, and then installed both the Symbolic PocketCMD and the Microsoft CMD prompts.

With the Symbolic prompt I get a dialog box that says:

"Cannot find 'PocketCMD' (or one of it's components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the required libraries are available."

I get the same message whether browsing to the executable or starting it with the shortcut.

With the Microsoft prompt I get a dialog box that says:

"CMD cannot start. There are two many console windows open. Please close some console applications and try again."

I've closed every app via the Switcher bar, and performed a soft reset, so I'm reasonably sure there aren't any console windows open.

There are also the CE tools available here. I haven't tried the console there, which is more like a Unix prompt than a DOS prompt. I was able to get IMAP and SMTP working over SSL using the port of stunnel that is also there.
