1. Display off of and be controlled via the Today Screen.
2. Must be able to prioritize tasks by A1, A2, B1, C1 etc.. and group them together (so that all the A's are together, B's are together and so on(
Basically, I want to be able to quickly create tasks of the most important things I NEED to do today in order (A), things I SHOULD do today if I have time (B) and things that need to be done at some time in the future (C).
Does that make any sense?
I've looked at TaskPlus, TodayPlus, tAgenda and a few others, none of which seem to work the way I describe (unless I'm just missing something here).
Is there anything out there that will do what I require?
Both are very similar in functionality and cost, and both have free, full-featured trial versions so you can try both and buy whichever one you happen to like better.
Originally posted by DonGeraldo I need to be able to prioritize and collapse/expand by priority level.
You can do this with ListPro but, while you can start ListPro from the Today screen, it won't display the tasks there.
I'm surprised Iliumsoft don't consider adding a feature so you can treat one list as a set of tasks and have them display on the Today screen. Of course, there might be technical problems with allowing you to collapse/expand them there...

I'm not sure about Agenda but Pocket Informant allows you to set priority for Tasks of A-Z and 1-99; i.e. A1, B3, etc. This is set under Options - Tasks, set the Task Priority Manager Assigns... to Yes.
Any application that displays the tasks on the Today screen sorted by priority should then do what you want.
I prefer TodayPlus myself with PI running in the background for all my appts, tasks, etc. The latest version is great!
