www.pdawin.com this remote is one of the best and it supports ccf skins (like the phillips prontos) so you can make your own button layouts

Been asked a million times. There are none. :)

If there is one in the future, I'm sure you'll hear about it very quickly.

If you really want FULL control over your HT System with your Axim, pdaWIN with a CFIr Extender Card is the ONLY way to go.

Complete control of the GUI, MACROs, Buttons.......you name it.

You can create One Button that will take your completely turned off HT System and turn it on, select the correct devices (with each device correctly configured), Tune in to the SuperBowl, set your Air Conditioning, Dim your lights, adjust the volume and lock your door.

All that, with just ONE Button.........it IS possible........just not likely anyone would go to that extreme.

Well, my neighbor might. But then he's got this humongous HT, and he's very stingy!

Hi all,
I just downloaded that program and it definitely has a better UI than Total Remote, but I was disappointed with the very short list of pre-defined controllers. Out of all my stuff, only my VCR was in the list. So I'll have to program everything else in I guess. By chance, is there an extra database of devices that I missed?
Thanks!

Great recommendation, MrKlaatu....was just about to point to the same place. RemoteCentral is the place to go for PDA remote solutions. By the way, haven't seen you around there in a while....lose interest?

Also, Total Remote v2.0 has recently come out, with added CCF support. Check out my initial opinions and some screenshots in This Thread.

Thanks guys, I just checked it out. Tons of stuff on that site. Now how would I go about using these files? Sorry, I'm an idiot in this arena.
Thanks,

The free one is called omniremote and i believe its is the older version http://www.pacificneotek.com/softwar...Remote1171.zip at that link but you will also need a databse or the original remote. to register just use the Word MARMOSET i found it on the website and it worked so ...yeah

I usually welcome others on their first post here whether they need help or helping others. Reviving a two year old thread and calling others "fruit" does not deserve that respect, seriously. You're most welcome to this board but calling others names is not welcomed.

compootaloota, please do not be rude to other users on this site.
The link you posted is for a Palm OS device, this is a Dell Axim website, and the original question was from a Dell Axim user.
This remote program will not work on the Dell Axims unless you buy a $50 emulator for Palm programs to run on Windows Mobile, and I still doubt it would be able to access the infrared port.
