that is for the older type processors. Axims all work with only strong arm or xscale programs.

The os updates work just fine for the ti emu prog because ti includes the whole ram content in the updates. The rog supports the ti-82 through the ti-89 including the 83 plus what basically is the same like the silveredition, but would recommend the 89 because it is definitly the most powerful model. The program runs slower than my 89 but it has all its functions included.

So the VTI pocket emulator V2.4 works well? I am considering trying it on my x5 advanced with 03. Anyone else with this setup have any luck with the VTI software?

Yeah, I use the VTI-software on my Axim along with a TI-89-rom, but it's a bit slow :/

Has anyone been able to get the VTI program to work with the new X50 ROM Update? I can't get mine to work since I updated the ROM. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and still it doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

i was kinda disappointed but at the same time not surprised that the vti is in qvga format.. i spent half the time switching between truevga and qvga now adays, i like true vga for browsing, acrobat and aim, but have to go back to qvga for vti, gps software and others...

I’ve just published my FULL roundup & tutorial on emulating HP’s calculators at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/emula...ws-mobile.html - don’t forget to check it out.

Also note that I’ve previously published a FULL roundup & tutorial on using TI’s calculators at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/appli...ws-mobile.html - it’s also worth checking out.

(Sorry for the flood – I want all interested parties to take note of these articles. They’re well worth reading, I think.)
