Alot Like MathCad
I know this has been mentioned before, but this really is a very powerful, free mathcad like program for the PPC:
MathExpander:

(I've been fooling with it recently and have been very impressed)

The download was a little slow, but the rest of the site worked great. Going home tonight to "play" with the software and see what it can do. It looks really sweet. Hope it performs as good as it looks.

Hey, the link worked this time!
This looks pretty cool!
If the graphing one does what I think it will, it would be a cool tool for showing students the relationship between graphs and their equations.
If only I had time to play with all the apps I have or want to have!

I "played last night till about 3 AM with this program. Its really great. I used it to mess around with some geometry problems from some of my old textbooks and it really worked well. For a freebie this is super!

Wow, this thread should gather all the math geeks in one place. Not many things can do that.
Speaking about that, I heard a funny one: "Lottery, a tax for people who are bad at math".

Speaking of math geeks....
Slightly off-topic here, but speaking of math geeks, I was told the other day about a card game that only a mathematian could love. It's called Complex Hearts----basically like the traditional Hearts, but the scoring is with complex numbers.

Even more off topic... sebringal, can you send me the original image you used to make your avatar? I think I can clean it up alittle so that it's not so pixelated. Not sure how'd you want to send it to me, I can give you my email I guess.

I've heard of "complex Hearts'. Even weider IMHO I once had a software engineer who worked for me and he kept his checkbook in binary!

I agree that keeping a checkbook in binary is weird.
Makes me think of a joke/puzzle I heard. It's really more of a holiday thing, but here you go:
Why did the mathematician (or programmer or engineer or...) think Halloween was Christmas?
Because OCT31=DEC25
