So far Opera has shown a noted lack of development or support of Windows Mobile/CE based devices. I honestly doubt that this will change. I'm sure that we'll see this technology in Symbian and Palm OS devices, but I'm not so sure about CE based devices.

That's how they were with Linux a few years ago, but eventually, they realized that there's a good market for it. I don't surf much with my Axim now, but if I had Opera on there, I probably would.

Don't get your hopes up. Opera Software has said time and time again they don't want to support a product that Microsoft makes. Look at the bottom of the new release...

See something missing? Sometime last year the CEO of Opera Software was on a CNet video saying he has no intention of ever supporting Pocket PC. I think there is a better chance of seeing iTunes for Pocket PC before you see Opera's Browser.

Well, there is an opera browser for the sharp zaurus (I think thats what it calls).
And Opera makes an OS for a Microsoft product, in fact I'm using it right now...

Very true, but what does that have to do with them supporting Pocket PC. As I said above, the CEO said they would never support another Microsoft platform.
This is an article from last year, but it drives home the point I was making.
Opera refuses to perform on Microsoft smartphone

Pål Hvistendahl, communications director, speaking to ZDNet UK. "But we don't want Microsoft to win in this space, so we will never do a Windows CE port."

Doesn't sound like they are too keen on porting now does it?
