Microsoft® ActiveSync® 3.7.1

I am thinking of updating my AcxtiveSync from 3.7 to Microsoft® ActiveSync® 3.7.1.

Does anyone run this and are there any problems I should be aware of?

There have been several reported problems. I don't understand them all. The problem I personally experience is that when you click on "Explore" (to see the files on your Axim), I sometimes get a blank screen. Rebooting the PC and/or Axim eventually fixes the problem. My advice is, if your existing AS works, don't change it. If you currently have problems, make sure you have the files to go back.

Updated after I had trouble with the laptop not finding my ax.. updated to 3.7.1, soft reset.. works fine now.

The phrase AS "works" should always have quotes around the "works." We're all just so used to this crummy software that we don't notice how lousy it really is. I would amend commoved's advice to "If your existing AS is only a low, throbbing irritation like the headaches that often accompany a low-grade fever or a visit from your mother-in-law, don't change it. I've been using the 3.7.1 version for quite some time now on my Axim X5+ running WM2003 and it has been smooth sailing (fingers and toes crossed :D ).
