Pocket e-Sword
I installed Pocket e-Sword to my sd card, as well as all of the modules. When I tried to run the app. I recieved the following error message. (No Pocket e-Sword resources located in '\Program Files\Pocket e-Sword'. After this failed to work I removed the app and all modules. I installed the app to main memory and the modules to the sd card just like the tutorial stated on the webpage. I got the same message. I then took one of the bibles and moved it to the program file in main memory and it opened the app. I can't put all of the modules on my main memory and I have a 256mb sd card almost empty available. I have other apps on the card that work. What am I doing wrong?:crooked: :rolling:

Open E-Sword & go to view, open "Resourse location " highlight sd & find the file that has all your downloads, highlight that file & hit ok. You should be set to go.
The main program needs to be dowloaded to the main memory but the book/bibles can be stored on your cards.

I performed a soft reset and tried it again and when it asks me to select the resources I go to my sd card, and select e-sword and then ok. Then I get an error message saying that a native exception has occurred in Pocket e-sword.exe. It gives this in details: exception code: 0x80000002, exception address: 0x01d39b4c. It asks me to quit or debug. when I select debug the screen closes and nothing happens.

I would uninstall everything and do a soft reset. Go to Active sync and Tools add/remove hightlight esword and remove it completely by using the remove button. Then install in this order.
1. E Sword to Main Memory
2. Books/Bibles to SD card.
3. then map everything.

I mean that under the View/Resource Location/ that you go to the SD Card and highlight the Pockect E-Sword File and then hit ok. That way you have E-Sword configured to look in the SD card for the Books/Bibles etc.

Ok, each time I start e-sword I get the message that there are no rescources in programs\e-sword. and the resource page comes up. I go to sd and select the e-sword file I made with all of the books and bibles and select ok. I get a error message saying no resources found in sd\e-sword

This may sound stupid and do not take it wrong but are you sure the files are on the card. Use file explorer and navigate to the SD cards and locate the files if you can.

I put the files into a folder I created on the sd card. I can open the folder through explorer and see all of the files with the file sizes and other details. When I start the app the message pops up saying no resources found and opens the resource page. It looks just like a explorer page. I navigate to sd card and open the folder and find the e-sword folder. I select it and select ok and it tells me there are no resources in sd\e-sword. I have tried creating subfolders in the e-sword folder on my sd card and when I select the file in the subfolder it gives me the native inception error. Is the folder supposed to open and show the files when selected in resources?

Looking at your last reply it looks like the files could be in your main memory. Using Resource Location navagate to the program files and highlight the e sword file there and see what happens.

it does the same thing. I have moved one of the smaller bibles to the program file in the main memory and tried to point to it and it said the same thing no resources.

I tried removing the program again from my axim. I then used explorer to remove any files left behind that were read-only. I performed a soft reset and installed the program to main memory. I created a e-sword folder on my sd card and transfered the books to that folder using active sync. I started the program and it said no resources found in program\e-sword. The resource locator opened up I verified through active sync explorer that the books were in the folder on the sd card and the pointed the locator to that folder. I recieve this error ( A native exception has occurred in Pocket e-Sword.exe.) I choose details and read the following (exception code: 0x80000002, exception address: 0x01d39b4c) I select the debug option and the message closes and nothing else happens. This happend last night before I removed and reinstalled.

What are the file extension of the files in your SD card e-sword folder?
The bibles should have .bbl, commentary would be .cmt, and dictionaries would be .dct.
