very simple ...there are a plethora of different readers out there which one do you use so that other may find another reader program or rest asssured that their reader program is best. Also give some reasons why you like the one you use.
Gotta admit.........If I want to read a Book, it requires Paper, Binding and a Cover, doesn't matter if it's Hardback or Paperback.........I gotta FEEL the pages under my fingers and SEE the Texture of the Page.
I use Microsoft Reader. It's free and works fine so I have not even tried anything else.
I didn't even look at ebooks for the longest time because I really didn't think I would like the format. Now I am looking for all my favorites in ebook format so I don't have to lug the actual books around. The selection of ebooks does not include nearly enough of what I would like to see, but the availability is increasing all the time.
I've tried the all and have come back to MS Reader. As for using a real book, yeah no argument, real paper is better. But for traveling and laying in bed at night my AX makes a great reader. And there are so many public domain classics that I have never gotten around to reading that I can now do for free and with out my wife yelling about all the books clutering up her book shelves (Which are cluttered with knick knacks) so I am perfectly happy to be a blended person, some E books and some hard back.
I haven't read a 'real' book since I got my Ax, MS reader is the best i've used, mostly due to simplicity and the library function. i have alsoused Mobipocket reader but I hate the way the library works.
When buying ebooks if given the choice it's MS reader all the way.
I've used Mobipocket inthe past, when I owned a CE 2.01 device and then a Psion, and it's a nice reader. I recently tried PalmReader and, quite frankly, just do not like it.
Now that I have MSReader on PPC that is what I use when I read e-text. I actually recently purchased my first e-book and, while I also prefer paper books, this wasn't nearly so bad as I expected and I may choose to buy more e-books in the future.

I use M$ Reader on both my laptop and Axim. And I enjoyed the free ebooks that M$ sponsored over the summer. The Baen site, which is a great ebook site, has also kept me using M$ Reader quite often.
Microsoft have recently updated MS Reader to version 2.2.3. obtainable from the MS Download site. It will read certain books which earlier versions would not.
I've used MSreader, and Palmreader, but the best of the lot is ubook (gowerpoint.com). You can create your own skins easily, and there are loads of options to play with even with the skins available for download.

Since I am a SF fan I really appreicate BaeN. Also since one of my favorite authors (John Ringo) frequently quotes R. Kipling I have begun reading and in some cases re reading his work which can easily be found in E-format in numerous FREE E Reader sites.
It does amaze me how many people will pay to download Public Domain work with out doing a little searching to find the same work free (Legaly) at other sites. Also many of the sites I use are in Europe or Australia and the content posted there is sometimes more diverse.
The world is truly a diverse and wonderful place and contrary to what many may think, we are living in a golden age.

You should know that Australia in particular but even Europe have slightly different copyright laws from the US, and what is in the public domain in Australia may not be in the public domain in the US. Downloading copyrighted material from these sites is as much a violation as downloading from a warez site would be. Most of those sites that I have seen, actually, make that point quite clear.
I have used palmreader since before my Ax. I have not read a "paper" book in over four years, but have purchased (and read) over 150 ebooks.
I have tried MS reader. My biggest problem was not with the program but with the supplier of ebooks. With PeanutPress (were I get my palmreader books), I can instantly download the books. With other sites that I purchased book for MS reader, I had to wait for them to email me a link to the download. This sometimes took a few hours. I don't have time to wait to read a book.
