I have installed the two week trail version of this tv guide software and like it a lot. The problem is it is also meant to act as a remote control. you should be able to pick a tv program and the axim will change the digibox to the correct channel. I cannot get this feature to work. I use PDAwin tv remote so I know the ir on my X3 works fine. Does anybody have this working on their Axim? I do not want to shell out for the subscription if it wont work properly.

Interesting - I didn't know about this. I do however note from their website at Radio Times that it is quoted as compatible for PocketPC and PocketPC 2002. No mention of Windows Mobile 2003. What are you running on your X3? Bet it's WM2003...

An e-mail to Radio Times or TVcompass may be in order.

Thanks for the Link!, just set it up and seem to be having no problems, remote seems to be working fine apart from some of the channel numbers being mixed up, when you change from remote, to the programmes list. :)

I tried this sometime ago on my x5 - it did work (but only if I got up and bent down by the tv about 0.5m away). Which didn't seem like such a great plan.

In the end I got Digiguide which you can link with avantgo to update...I just get the listings but it works well for the money.

And until I decide to purchase something to improve the ir on the ax I'll stick with using my standard tv remote
