Disappointed in this software....

I like the features of Journalbar, but I uninstalled it about an hour later... it was a slug! It slowed the system down way too much. Anyone else have this issue? Would like to use it, but not as the cost of performance!

Truth be told, I pretty much just liked the Weather forcast on the Today screen....

There seems to be plently of issues with the new version of Journal Bar. If you search in here you will find a thread about the problems.

TodayPlus also has a weather forecast element on the screen. The status of the program is uncertain right now but it's the utility I like the most.

I agree . . .

I too uninstalled Journal Bar. The biggest problem i had was proxy issues. My Proxy settings were completely correct, and it still couldn't get out. I'm with you on the weather thing too, that's the only component that really drew me in. I may reinstall when an update comes around, but i'm leaving it off for now . . .

I used to get the weather in my desktop outlook; it came as a calendar entry, with no time. I think it went out 5 days, and listed the forcast for each day.
There was a web site that did this, but I can't remember what it was.
This would allow synching to put it on your handheld calendar (I did this when I had a Palm).
