Ok, will Microsoft Money 2003 sync with the microsoft money that came with the Dell on the Companion CD? And how do you set money to sync?

Yes. The Dell Companion CD just links you to the Microsoft download site where you are prompted to select the software based on the version of Money you are running. Also Money 2003 comes with the PPC2002 version on the CD. Check your Money help for location and installation info.
One you install the Money software on your Axim it shows up on your Active sync checklist. Select it and adjust the settings to establish what data you want synced with your device.
I started this process with Money 2002 and couldn't get it to sync but when I upgraded to 2003 (picked it up cheap at a Boxing Day sale) and used the software on the CD, it worked fine.

Has Anyone figured out how to sincy MS Money 2002 on the PC with the Money for the Axim?

- I downloaded Money for my Axim off microsoft's website

- I tried to synch but it wouldn't synch or 'find' Money on my PC.

If anyone can help....

Open the active sync thing that runs on the pc. got to options make sure money is set to sync.

That's it. At least that is all I had to do.

Do you have Money 2002 on your PC or Money 2003?

If anyone is thinking about upgrading, Money 2004 is excellent. I love how it syncs with MSN Money. My only beef is with the PPC version, the today plugin doesn't work well on WM2003.

Well, I talked to Dell Tech...and they gave me some references to Microsofts Knowledge base, but nothing really talks about how to fix this PPC Money 2K3 vs Desktop Money 2K2.

I found one article that states that there are problems...lol...thanks! :D

Soooooooooooooooooo, I did a google search using:

I thought I had it!. Yes, how stupid could I be! Just download Pocket Money 2K2 instead of the 2K3 on my Axim now!

Well, I did the download...then checked my Axim and low and behold....PPC Money 2K2 does not work with Pocket PC 2K3 O/S.

Ha!

Well....other than buying Money 2K3....does ANYONE have any ideas?

Well, like I said, if you do have to buy it, buy 04 not 03. There is other software that synchs with MS Money I believe. Try Cash Organizer(but then for that price you could almost buy Money 04).
