File Explorer as a .CAB

Does anyone know of a file explorer program that is freeware and can be downloaded in .cab format? (I'd love drag and drop capability.)

I'm not able to sync at work, but am using a portable jumpdrive to load .cab's etc. onto an SD card.

IIRC, Total Commander is a .cab file. You should be able to find a link in the downloads section.

I'm sure that this is my fault, but I was only able to find Total Commander as an .exe file in the downloads section. Am I looking in the wrong place?

No, my fault. I replied from work and I THOUGHT it was a .cab file. I looked in my archives and you are right...it's an .exe

Go here and browse down toward the bottom and follow the directions about using Total Commander and pocket rar to unzip and install on PPC like you would a cab file. I hope this will help.

I've been to freecabs a bunch of times and found the programs suggested, but unfortunately, as luck would have it you have to SYNC to get WinRAR on. I guess I'm still looking for a .CAB file explorer program that would not require any syncing at all.

Well, I'll be darned...ya learn sumthin' new every day. If you go to Total Commanders website/download page HERE
They tell you how to extract the .cab file out of the .exe.

On your desktop, rename the .exe to .zip. Now 'unzip' the file and it breaks out the self-installer and the .cab files.

I never heard of that trick before...I think that could be quite useful ;)
