It seems like every second time that i press the "Explore" button in the ActiveSync window and the "Mobile Device" window pops up it dosn't load and it just freezes. This wouldn't be that bad except for the fact that when i try to close it a window pops up and says that this program is not responding. The only option i have is "end now" and when i press that the whole screen refreshes, and all of the windows of other programs that i had open closed. Is this a problem with ActiveSync 3.5, or if not, what is it a problem with?

Sounds like an intermittant USB problem. Try changing USB ports and/or reinstalling the Dell drivers. You must have a good USB Port and the Dell drivers to communicate consistently.

I just started having this identical problem after many months of activesync working fine. Anybody have any other ideas. I am sure my USB port is working okay.
