Sorry not to be of help. My version is v.1.19.4.

I quite agree this is a very strange way to distribute an otherwise excellent program. It seems that, at present, you cannot either buy it or register the freeware.

I would e-mail you my copy, but I am afraid that would be illegal.

All I can suggest is some e-mail correspondence with SK to ask him what to do.

I have done that twice no answer from him, this is driving me nuts. It is the only program including Pocket Mechanic that finds missing uninstall files. So I will continue to look.

Remover on my Axim has been useless for a few months now.

Can't use it, can't remove it!

Anyone know how to remove Remover?

All you do is go to the directory using file explorer and hold the stylus on the remover application until the menu comes up and select delete.

I recently had the same problem, with Remover requiring a registration key. I emailed SK, to see if he would provide the key, and he replied that effective 2/2/04 he is no longer providing registration keys. He said to go to his site, and download the latest version, that will never request registration. I tried it last weekend, and it works perfectly again.

Remover is a great program.

My newer remover also expired and and by chance I still kept the old 0.85 version. It has basically all the things I need and doesn't expire.:D

Count me in on this discussion, I've got the same problem. Here's a thought and someone tell me if this is illegal (I don't even know the difference between freeware and shareware).
Couldn't someone like Davey, who has an older freeware copy of the program, like 0.85, post it in the download section of Aximsite? Just because a newer version of program comes out that doesn't negate the freeware status of the older versions does it?
That is just a thought...feel free to inform me if I am way off base.

If you got to SKs site you can now download the 1.9 version which works fine no expiration date.

Mine says registered to me, but that is what happened to me before. I deleted everything on my Axim that pretained to Remover and the register nag was gone.

I just re-downloaded and reinstalled. Working fine for now. But....we'll see.
