I am trying to find a quick, efficient app that will allow me to track & maintain tasks and subtasks - in other words, something that allows for "Categories" or "Projects" and then explodes down into the subtasks. I would like it to be expandable in that I don't have to look at all tasks and subtasks at the same time and I don't want a super bloated app that takes up 10mb on my Ax and takes 15 seconds to launch. Does such an app exist?

Check PocketInformant. It has some hierarchical task setup (I don't use it that way myself, but I have heard others do.) Check their website and forums for the answer.

I have been trying out PI, but I find it extraordinarily slooow and bulky... thanks for the suggestion though...

I've been having good luck with TreNotes. Nice thing is there is a desktop version as well.
