Exactly! Only one thing... the main, lowermost menu should still use the PPC theme image, and then there should be a separate image designated for the submenus maybe, as an option. That would really be nice, a skinnable cascading image prog with support for PPC themes.

There are already freeware apps to customize the bar across the top with the start menu, such as having extra buttons, allowing it to be skinnable, and having an app=switching utiility. I am using one like that called icbar.
Anyway, there is a relatively useless bar at the bottom of my today page, with nothing on it but "new|^" and then a big blue bar. it doesn't go well with my desktop, and I think something like this for a replacement for that bottom bar would be pretty useful:
a customizable bar, that is skinnable which could maybe have something like the icons of the running applications on it.
Finally, there shoudl be some kind of utility to easily change out the icons of various programs.
no pressure on you to design these, I'm just throwing out ideas I think people might like.
