What is the fastest browser?

What is the fastest ppc browser? I have been using pie and netfront3 and both are slooow...
Any reccomendations?

Did you install the A04 ROM on your X5? It seemed to significantly improve PIE on mine. I think your other option is to install WM03. PIE is much faster on it than any browser I've tried on PPC02.

Well im trying to avoid WM03 because I always feel the os that came with the system will run best on that system.. sorta like when I ran windows 98 on my 200mmx.. 32megs of ram didnt cut it.. so yeah..
I have rom A03 right now and was also trying to avoid that because if its not broke.. dont fix it. But perhaps thats the only way I can get things so they dont lag me to death.

I have recently upgraded my Dell Axim X5 from PPC 2002 to WM 2003 - it actually appears to run faster.

Certainly the PIE is a LOT better than PIE in 2002.

It also handles changing of proxies a bit better (2002 does not support different proxy settings between WIFI AP at all - 2003 allows you to configure one as Work and others as Internet).

Having waited a year before upgrading from 2002 to 2003, I am glad I did.
