Text-Maker, is it supposed to do this? EDIT: WRONG FORUM

I got the Text-Maker demo, I am considerng using it mostly for outlining and advanced hotkey capability, but seamless transfer of files doesn't hurt either, there are three big cons though, that I'm able to tell from the demo:

1) No clear type support
2) The software actually displays the text at HALF THE SPEED that I can actaully type (~90 WPM on PPC) which is a huge con, has anyone else experienced this? and if so is there a fix?
3) It's soo expensive, 25% the cost of a new PDA...

please post your thoughts... oh, and if there's a free outliner out there, that wouldn't hurt either.

gah, since I left the forums have changed, you changed the good parts of Invisionboard (the board itself) out, yet kept the bad parst (the horrible smilie images :D)

No problem... it's more an issue of what I'm used to anyway, there are a number of minor differences that really bug me :D

The main problem though I see is with vbulletin3 not 2 :p

ClearType support is there -> see Extras > Preferences

As for the speed issue, we have been able to work around the ill-designed Dell keyboard driver. Check out this:
