SpreadCE help

I searched the threads and I am still having troubles converting excel forms to my PPC. It seems like the consensus of this site is that right now SpreadCE gives the most functionality when it comes down to working with Excel on a PPC.

I have a form for work that had drop downs for field inspections which will not convert. I have tried to change the conversion settings, reinstalling the software and the form comes over minus the drop downs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Joba

You are virtually certain to be disappointed with pocket excel if you are expecting to be able to use spreadsheets created on a machine with a real spreadsheet program.

I'm with BigDave: don't convert it. Spreadce is [I]lots[\I] better that pocket excel, but I also think planmaker is better than spreadce. Of course, planmaker costs more, too, but to judge from textmaker (softmaker's word subsitute) it is certainly worth it.

This is the best advice. SpreadCE will read *.xls files. If you convert your Excel files to*.pxl you will lose a lot of features.

Forgive me if I am stating the obvious but go to Aximsite>Options>Rules>Conversion Settings and uncheck the "convert files" box.
