Trouble installing SprintDB

In the process of looking through a number of database applications I got stuck with installing SprintDB on the Ax.
It doesn't seem to cooperate with the active sync software panel. At least it's not listed there, when you run through the setup. All I can do is to tick off "Ok" and then nothing happens, though a remark comes up "Installing in default location"

Can regional settings be the reason (this is a german version device)

Any ideas?:crooked:

Never mind, the crap sticks in a subdirectory of active sync and you have to move the cab's over manually, then you'll see that only the 2577 cabs will install.

Poor implementation, lack of support, though powerful db

Actually, I installed and uninstalled SprintDB several times while I was evaluating it and other databases and never had any problems. The same is true after I purchased it. Perhaps another application is causing an issue or has somehow messed up registry. I know I had a similar problem with a different database while I was doing my evaluations.

Gotta agree with you about it being powerful. Nothing like this is available for the Palm platform.

I had "Data on the run" active on it, however even uninstalling and reinstalling didn't do any good. The cabs in the active sync directory finally made it.
