To install it Download the .exe file here and then run it from your computer. Now it will install on your Axim. To open pdf files, just put them in your Pocket PC's My Documents folder, and then sync you Axim. Now you can open the file from Acrobat Reader!

I have the AximX30, will this version of Acrobat Reader work with it?
I am not sure this is the right download. What and where is the chip on the About page?
Will I be able to open a .pdf file directly or will I have to put it in the documents folder and sync, or do you mean once you download the file in your documents and sync, you will be able to open .pdf files?

I don't think Acrobat Reader has released a SE version, so my above link would be the one to use.
You can have activesync sync your PDF files so it is better formatted to be viewed on a smalll screen, or you can directly download one from the internet on your X30, and still view it on Acrobat Reader! Great plus.

I was looking at Repligo and the Adobe forum on PDF files for PPC. There seems to be a lot of issues, from experienced users, with the Adobe. Repligo seems more user friendly to me. I have to read more before I decide so I don't get my self and my Axim into trouble! Thanks for the reply. I will take it into consideration when making my decision.

The AximX30 is my first PPC. I don't want to make the same mistakes I did with my PC. I don't feet comfortable enough to try it out and I think I would prefer the Repligo program for the PP ability. I will choose one sooner or later. There is no hurry to decide.

Adobe's Acrobat Reader works for X30, except in landscape mode. At least that's my experience. In landscape, it displays, but not properly. The top bar is on the top and side of the screen.
