Sure, go to tools -> manage folders and pick the ones you want synchronized. BTW that's not httpmail specific and is described in the documentation that comes with your pocket pc (tap Start -> Help and tap the Inbox link).

I've been using HTTPMail Provider for about a week now and must say it as absolutely awesome. It's totally invisible! The best thing now would be if Adrian made it support Gmail... Hint Hint :)

help

I downloaded that program and did this:
Installation

To install the software copy the downloaded file to your PocketPC and tap it.
Configuration

To configure your hotmail or msn account open Inbox tap Accounts, choose "New Account" and enter your hotmail or msn e-mail address and tap Next. On the "Account Information" screen select "HTTP" as the account type, enter a name for the service or accept the default one and tap "Next". On the "Server Information" screen enter "hotmail" or "msn" (without the quotes) depending on which service you are using, tap the "Options" button and select the appropriate connections settings (usually "The Internet").

IS THIS ON THE POCKET PC? Or on the computer? I dont get it, what is the messaging thing on the pocket pc? is that pocket outlook? Or do I have to download it too?

The installation is referring to the Pocket PC Pocket Inbox application.

HTTPmail is actually an "Add-on" to the existing Pocket Inbox application which adds the HTTP mail protocoal to the already available POP3 and IMAP.

So, follow the directions for setting up a Pocket Inbox account using the instructions noted.

Is there a way to get HTTPMail to sync more than one hotmail account?

The answer to this question is fond in response #16 above (Just select junk mail instead of deselecting it)

Yes, simply setup unique accounts for each in Pocket Inbox

Try PocketHotmail, there's a beta out and so far no troubles. I had bought this awhile back, but version 2.2 was not compatible with WM2003

This would be a hotmail problem. Even the fact that you get a delivery notification shows that httpmail successfully submitted the message. You should see the same problem if you send the message through hotmail's web interface or via outlook express.

ok, i am a little confused about all of this.. if i download HTTPmail or whatever, i will be able to send mail from my hotmail email account, on my ppc from a hotspot or where ever i am with wifi. but what about synchronization? does it actually synchronize your inbox so you can send and receive email on your desktop? bc i understand that Outlook 2000 doesnt allow hotmail services...
