I was installing a few apps this evening (RhinoLaunch, RhinoStats, Pocket Panel) all of which appear on the Today screen.

I got them all set up to view and when the Today screen finished re-configuring itself my "Tasks" were gone. Ok, so I go back into Today>Items to recheck Tasks...and it's not there !!

Tasks is supposed to be one of the items listed in Today>Items...right?

Tasks is still available on the Ax, I just have to go to it the hard way.

What the H... happened? How do I get it back onto the Today screen?

looks like some application removed from your registery database
I just don't have my Axim handy right now, someone needs to post the correct entries for this plugin and you have to manually make sure they are the values you have

I had a similar problem after installing, then removing, some other Today screen plug ins. Most of my Today items disappeared, and I had to hard reset. Needless to say I was less than happy!
