As anyone used the Axim as a graphics tablet e.g. for Photoshop? Are there any software suggestions?

Well, I don't know of any program out there that is designed for that, but with Pocket Artist, you can create some art ala Photoshop and then import to the Big Guy on your PC... there's even a pen pressure simulator to make you think you're using a Wacom :)

a little known japanese-based program is "Mobile Atelier". As both a traditional wet-media artist and also a digital artist, I've found this little program to be the coolest art/graphics program for the pocket pc.

I tried the demo version of Conduits Pocket Artist and was impressed by it's similarities to Adobe Photoshop but feel Mobile Atelier provides a better experience for the pocket pc platform.

give it a try... they even offer a freeware version to get started with.
