OK, I moved all the dll's that MM detected in the dll mover utility over to my SD card. I understand everything, but 1 question remains.

Since we're moving dll's to a different store, obviously the cleaner is detecting bad COM entries. Question is: Can we safely delete these bad COM entries given the fact that we may need to move the dlls back to main memory to uninstall? Freed up quite a bit of space here, thanks for the great addition!!

Oops! I messed up avantgo when I was playing with memaid. It still comes on, but it opens on the chanel manager page. All pictures are gone. Anyone run into this and know how to fix it? Oh, I still have my radar maps. A lot of the pages didn't load, (page unavailable, it says).

Two questions...

(1) I thought MemMaid was $9.99 for a few mroe days...
(2) I would complain to handango that when one does a search for memmaid it does not find your software! Pitiful!

Did you choose the "Synch all info during next sync" checkbox in the AG settings on your axim and/or your PC?

Regarding the MemMaid search on handango, it came up just fine for me. I searched for MemMaid . . .

Thanks Wooch for answering the AvantGo questions.

The search functionality at HandAnGo has lots of problems, specially if configure HandAnGo to filter for a PPC device type

Yes, MemMaid will consider the COM registration entries being invalid cause the DLL can't be found any more in its default path We're correcting thi. Expect an update later today.

Cool, thanks for the update. I just don't want to delete those entries, and then have issues with the uninstall when I move them back. I've only run into one small issue, when I go into O1's Program Bar plugin settings, it barks about a SOTI Pocket controller dll missing. It still loads the module, so nothing awry there. Actually, I just moved it back because it was only 17 KB

One other request, and this would be big. There are 2 very large Pocket Informant dll files in the Windows direcctory, totalling about 1.5 MB. I noticed that they don't appear on the list of dll files that can be moved, and I'm sure there's good reason. Any chance that we could get these moved over, being that those 2 would free up an additional 1.5 MB of Main Memory :D

Finally, I do agree, handango's search module needs alot of work . . . :realmad:

I'm not sure about the DLL missing error, I'll try it myself.
And can you give us the DLL names that you are talking about ?
We only list recognized DLLs (and maybe for some reason we don't recognize those ones).
Anyway, give us the names and some one will look at it.

pitools.dll (1.02 MB)
pocketbreeze.dll (447 KB)

Thanks for the info, but I'm an idiot. How do I get to the checkbox that you referred to, when I tap on avantgo it takes me to the channel manager page and there are no options there except to delete the channels if I check their boxes. :crooked:

Thanks, but I'm putting together a purchase at Handango (10% off) and it doesn't make sense for me to split it up with Handango and Pocketgear. I'll just wait on memmaid.....

(You did say yesterday for a day or two....but it was less than one day....but thats your perogative, not trying to look a gift horse in the mouth! :) )

The problem with HandAnGo system is that changeing the price doesn't get applied immediatly and we can't even predict when the changed-price will take effect (That's why we selected PocketGear for the discount).
