Appointments through midnight, any way to show as 1 event

I have some appointments that say start at 11 pm and end at 1 am. Is there any way to have them listed as one event.

When they show on the today screen, there is a event from say 11 pm to 12, then it shows a second entry from 12 to say 1 am. It gets frustrating seeing that. I thought of making it a task with no time but that does not show as /busy/

Anyone know? I heard something about changing times in OUTLOOK on the PC but can't get it to work.

This is EXTREMELY frustrating for Calender + and even Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion.

In Calendar + there doesn't seem to be any program option that will allow you to change anything like that.

However, good news - Pocket Informant in "Settings" -> "Calendar" you can modify "Day View Start WD" and "Day View End WD" to work with your schedule.

I would think that should be sufficient, at least for PI. Contact Calendar + and see if they can do anything - likely not, however, due to the fact that the program is totally free.

Let us know if you find anything out.

One suggestion.... Make one generic appointment for a particular time frame, then add all the details of each appointment in the Notes section....

I use Calendar+ and for a OT shift 6PM to 2AM, it shows this:

18:00-multiday: Graveyard OT

One entry on the today screen.

Re: Appointments through midnight, any way to show as 1 event

I FOUND MY PROBLEM

Also I don't think I was very clear in reading my original statement of my problem.

I was using Calendar+ 2.0 with the home page here.

Ok, I have several similar appointments starting at 10 pm say on Day 1. They end the next day (Day 2) at 6 am. The point is that they are multiday events.

If you make an singular appointment entry, everything is fine.

Once you place that same appointment as recurring every Tuesday, or 12th or weekends, they now show as dual entities in the Today Screen in the Calendar + section.

I already emailed the author and he was really prompt in his response. Hopefully it can be fixed because I really like the application. :D
