Not sure where this post belongs...but...

I was reading another guy's post about Magic Button, so, I thought I'd check it out.

I went to the developer's site and found the Remote Keyboard program. Very cool. I have a wireless CF card and am networked here at home -- the remote keyboard is impressive! Wireless. Very nice.

I'm not too sure that I'll use it a lot -- but for those programs that require direct input typing on the Ax, it's perfect.

This sounds very interesting... However, I honestly do not know what the real benefit of using this program is. If you have access to a networked PC that has wireless capability and a wireless card for your Axim, why don't you just create a document on your PC and send the file over to Axim when done? Why bother connecting to Axim at all while typing??

this is one of those "because you can" type apps.

I can see the benefit of making some documents directly to your PPC without it being recorded on a work machine, even as part of the AS log (Some employers have very strict personal electronics rules). If you do that stuff alot, it could save some time and trouble, but it assumes you have wifi everywhere you go (and the WEP/VPN codes), or a cable with. If you do, I could see justifying it.
