Password problem?

Does anybody else have this problem? I use the 4-digit password option for some level of security. About every week, the password screen stops coming up and the device is completely accessible. Soft reset seems to solve the problem for awhile.
Thanks for any advice. I've tried changing the password, changing all of the password options, etc.

There is a setting in the password screen that tells it how long the device can be idle and still allow access without prompting for the password again - but the max for that setting is 24 hours, not a week. Do you perhaps do something different once a week (weekends?) where the unit is idle longer than during the other times of the week?

Thanks for responding. I don't do anything differently-it just sort of changes without anything on my part. When I check the password screen, it still tells me that the idle time is still set for 5 minutes.

I purchased the Axim at the end of March. I've noticed the same password problem, it was fine for the first few weeks but now it doesn't come up at all. However, it does come up on my desktop PC when I sync up. Did you ever find out what the problem was?

I never found out waht the problem was but I downloaded a security program from Utimaco.com and it works really well. It always comes on and locks the computer so that it forces a reset after a certain number of login attempts. Blocks hot sync also.

Honestly, I gave up and figured that it was a Microsoft glitch and gave up trying to get an answer.
