Tired of choosing which partnership???

I think it would be nice if active sync would sync up without me having to select what type of connection each and every time.

Anyone know a work around for this?

Thanks

Don't establish "Guest" relationships, with systems you routinely sync with.

hmmm.....doesn't seem to work

tried to establish the standard sync. wouldn't accept my device id. however, I don't want to sync my regular email. Just want to plug my axim into the cradle and not answer the question over and over again.

Have you tried changing the Axim ID name? Something catchy with no spaces.

well you can still set a partnership and configure ActiveSync to either
1. not sync you Email (Tools->Options->Sync Options)
2. only Sync manually (Tools->Options-> Schedule)

HTH

unrecoverable error

Typical computer problems: I don't find the same menu options listed as would be suggested by kind passerby's who attempt to help me with my woes.

I have version 3.6 active sync. And do not find "sync" options under tools - options - rules.

Currently, when exploring the possiblility of setting a partnership either as a "standard" or "guest" I select the "standard".

Then I will be querried as to the device name. No matter what I select as a name I will get an unrecoverable error and then I will have to terminate Active Sync via task manager.

thx
