ACT for PPC
Has anyone here used Trans Act for PPC yet? It is suppose to be exactly like ACT. It syncs with ACT on your PC too! The other thing I wonder is...If you don't have ACT on your PC does this much a program beat out others such as Pocket Informant etc..??

I'm not familiar with ACT, but it is hard for me to imagine something, at any price, beating out Pocket Informant.

From what I've read Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion are basicaly PIM's while Trans Act is more of a Contact manager, like it's PC cousin, ACT. I would still love to hear from someone that has used it though. PI is the most used on on this site by far.

I'm interested in this topic as well, but Sellitman, have you tried the Act Link for PPC that comes with Act 6.0? I've read that it does an OK job porting the contact stuff over to Pocket Outlook. I will most likely be testing this out this weekend for my wife.
I was assuming, since she just wants the contact info from her Act over, the worst thing that would happen is that I would need a better PIM stuff, like Pocket Informant, to replace the outlook stuff.
I will try to repost to this thread when I find out more about what problems we run into, etc...

I don't have ACT on my PC. It's a program I've always wanted to try. I figure if I can find a good one for the PPC It will do the trick.
