Hey, i'm at work right now and i'm playing around with the axim i got yesterday and i'm trying to download and install applications and stuff. I downloaded snails but it says its not a pocket pc application. Do i have to install it from my computer or is there a site where you can download files using your pocket pc and then install it right after you download on your pocket pc?

I do believe you download to your PC then open it while your axim is connected and it loads from there. I have loaded other PDAMill games this way with no problems.

When i try to run snails this thing pops up and says "snails_demo.exe" is not a valid pocket pc application. is there a way to fix that?

yes, remove it from your axim and put it on your desktop pc. Run it, and it will install the program thru activesync. That is the way most programs work.

np man. Every now and then u will find an install file that is in .cab format. Those are the ones you put on your Axim and run to install...
