I have been using Ereader (Palm Reader) for a few years and am upgrading to the latest. I click on the .PRC file and get a message saying Windows cannot open the file. looks like my laptop is saying there is no program associated with it. I have never run into this inthe past and am confused.

Looking for what the next step is.

Kinda late response, but here goes. Yeah, I screwed up, had downloaded the Palm version, sheesh. Now here is my dilema. I had it loaded in the CF card and can't get it back there. I have uninstalled the reader, reinstalla book & reader and tell it to go to the CF card. The book is on the CF card, but the reader winds up on the device. I have written them, but get some pretty canned answers.

Maybe Iam wrong. Can this app be installed in the CF card?

I've had the reader for about a year (maybe a little less than a year) and I've never been able to get it on a card.....just the books. I don't know if we are both doing something wrong but, it doesn't take up that much space so I haven't bothered to figure it out.

I know I am starting to doubt my sanity, but swear I had it on the CF card. I had the AXIM with 64 meg, it broke & now have one with 32 meg, so I really try to conserve as much as possible and try to put things on the CF card. Perhaps I was wrong and just need to leave it there. I am awiting another response from their website and will let you know what they say.
